We recognise the importance of supporting and engaging with the communities in which we operate. Whether through local partnerships, charitable initiatives, or volunteering efforts, we are committed to making a positive impact beyond our day-to-day work.
The LSL Communities Forum is a Group wide forum and brings together colleagues from across the divisions who are passionate about making a difference in the communities we serve. The forum plays a key role in shaping and supporting our community engagement strategy, helping to coordinate charitable initiatives, volunteering opportunities, and local partnerships. The forum runs key initiatives throughout the year. The Forum is sponsored by our Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in close collaboration with our Group CEO, with initiatives launched across the entire Group.
In 2024, a Group wide initiative was launched to encourage colleagues to volunteer and support local charities. All colleagues are invited to take up to one fully paid day away from their regular duties to participate in a charitable or community-focused activity. Whether volunteering individually or teaming up with colleagues, this initiative empowers everyone to make a meaningful impact in their local communities.
At e.surv, we also have a Charity Committee. Made up of passionate volunteers from across the business, the forum plays a key role in driving our charitable efforts. From sponsoring local sports teams to supporting grassroots causes, the committee carefully reviews monthly requests to ensure our giving reflects the values of our colleagues and communities.
This year (2025) e.surv is proud to support both LionHeart and Dementia UK—two charities that reflect the diverse needs and values of our colleagues.
LionHeart offers tailored support to RICS professionals and their families, including financial aid, counselling, and wellbeing services. Recognising that not all colleagues may relate to this charity, after a company wide vote, we selected Dementia UK as a second cause to support. This charity provides specialist dementia care and support for families.
The Charity Committee also runs a popular annual Steeplechase Race. Colleagues are divided into teams and each complete the race by either walking, swimming, cycling or running. Donations raised are split between our partnered charities, LionHeart and Dementia UK. To strengthen our collective impact, we offer match funding for donations made to these chosen charities, helping to double the support provided by our colleagues.
