Sava Graduates join e.surv’s inaugural conversion programme

We're delighted to announce that five AssocRICS surveyors joined our inaugural conversion programme last week.

We’re delighted to announce that five AssocRICS surveyors joined our inaugural conversion programme last week.

The conversion programme is designed to convert Sava graduates, with limited on-the-job experience, into fully operational AssocRICS surveyors at e.surv within 14 weeks (approx.).

Simon Robinson, Technical Trainer in our Learning and Development Team, will be overseeing their training: “We’re absolutely delighted to get this new programme off the ground. It gives those with a background in property (e.g. estate agency or energy assessments), a vocational route in to become a surveyor with the largest residential surveying company in the UK.

“Over the next few weeks, our new training programme will see our recruits gain hands-on experience alongside a dedicated mentor, allowing them to apply their classroom knowledge to practical scenarios. They will also learn about working practices at e.surv and gain essential local knowledge in their area. I’m sure everyone here will give them a warm welcome.”

Here’s what a couple of our new colleagues had to say:

“I chose the route of becoming a surveyor after spending 22 years in the Royal Air Force, followed by 10 years as a Domestic Energy Assessor where I worked alongside surveyors for 10 years. I commenced my training with Sava in November 2017. Now, I am in this excellent position of being employed by the leading surveying company in the UK and I’m hoping to have a long and fruitful career with the company.”

David Kettles AssocRICS, Sava Graduate on our inaugural conversion programme.

“After 25 years in estate agency, I was looking for ways to develop my career in surveying. I was very pleased to be selected for the conversion programme at e.surv. e.surv particularly appealed to me as an industry-leader together with the excellent training and support available to enable me to become a fully operational surveyor.”

Russ Hewitt, Operations Director, commented: “I’d like to welcome all five AssocRICS surveyors to the team. The future of the surveying industry relies on our ability to inspire the next generation which is why the launch of this new conversion programme is so important. I’d also like to thank everyone who will be involved in their training over the coming weeks.”
