Putting CSR on the agenda

Our Customer Care Director, Charlie Phayer, has recently taken on the additional role of leading the Corporate Social Responsibility agenda at e.surv.

e.surv already supports a wide range of charitable causes and activities but as part of his remit, Charlie will be raising awareness among colleagues of the support e.surv can provide to individuals and local teams, for their individual fundraising activities for local communities.

Involving our colleagues across the business in our CSR activity is key to its success and Charlie is looking to strengthen our CSR Committee in the new year. The committee is tasked with setting the CSR agenda, deciding on which charitable activities e.surv will support, and generally banging the drum for social responsibility.

Colleagues are invited to put themselves forward as Charity Champions, using their influence to help promote and encourage charity and community work in their areas.

Charlie will also oversee the support we give to our current company-sponsored charity – Coming Home – the Haig Housing Trust’s fundraising campaign to provide specially adapted homes for severely wounded ex-service personnel.

He said: “At e.surv, we’re committed to doing the right thing and focus on what is important to our colleagues, customers and clients. As the country’s largest residential surveying firm, we work across almost every community in the UK. It’s important for us to invest time and money in supporting charities and communities that can benefit from our help and support.”
