Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are a legal requirement introduced to help grade the energy efficiency of homes.

This gives prospective purchasers key information about how energy efficient their new home could be, and the environmental impact of heating your home. EPC reports are carried out by accredited energy assessors, and the grading scale starts at 'A' where a property is most energy efficient through to 'G', which is the least efficient. The report features clear graphs that explain this sliding scale, and a CO² emission chart helps you build a better picture about the property you are looking to purchase.
